The artist Brownister Hen describes himself as a master of process. Through years of working with material process and production across the world Hen has developed a superior understanding of material manipulation and process.

With this body of work Hen uses a multitude of processes to produce these unique editions. Beginning with drawing, he then uses computer manipulation, lazer cutting, mould making, resin pouring, grinding, sanding and finally polishing to produce the finished work.

Hen investigates the idea of the multiple as a motif, but then fills the rest with coincidence and abstraction.

Brownister Hen was born in the small village of Takuri on Amami Island, Japan, in 1972. Hen’s life is a story in itself…
